Ladies and Gentlemen (if they do still exist), today i bring you the... (drum rolls)... EGO TALK.
haven't we all heard enough of the E word, you may ask? my answer (obviously, DUH), is NO.. that is why i have taken up time from my busy life to bring you words that may offend, bore, excite, kill you.
Men, would you all please stand up, and pound on your chests, roar, and claim your so called superiority?
Women, shall we all just roll our eyes, and wonder why God made idiots?
So, you see, for the past few months, i have come across, a number of unfortunate events that i could only really dip my hands into this afternoon due to a slight traffic jam along the road to the office. thus, the entry.
Ego works its wonders in many differing ways. Similar to what we learnt in criminal law, i can divide it into: direct ego, indirect ego, reckless ego, etc etc.. i shall not elaborate too much on the classes, but i will give you an idea of what made me ponder throughout being stuck in the traffic.
You see, direct ego, the simplest of all and the easiest to recognize, can occur when a man refuses to date a woman who earns more than he could ever earn. he wants to be the breadwinner, so he can walk all proud and the woman would stay home, and cook and clean for him, the master. pui.
Indirect ego. its quite complicated. let me give you a scenario. a friend of mine, has a psycho girlfriend. no matter how we try to warn him of the consequences, he says 'no, i'll take care of it'.. so, we leave him be. give him a couple of days until he starts calling us up and asking for more advice. again, it all boils down to ego. he chose the girl (full stop). the girl was his choice (full stop). ego kicks in (full stop). how can friends bruise his ego by telling him that the girl was not a right choice? that would be 10 on the Ouch factor. thus, the indirect ego.
Reckless ego, basically means, doing something stupid for ego's sake. being reckless as to having an ego. haha. as you can tell i'm seriously b o r e d. anyway, lets carry on...
you see, in crime, it can either be direct intention OR indirect intention OR recklessness, etc.
however, when it comes to ego, indirect, direct, or recklessness all interlink.
i think i've mentioned it in my last post, that yy was asking me to drop my ego. LO N BEHOLD, was it just a scam to uplift Men's pride and boost their egos? see, if i DID drop my ego, then i'd be walking up to Mr ego to start a conversation. then Mr ego would be Mr ego plus, since he'd think 'ooo... i'm so hot. she came up to talk to ME.. yes, ME...'
ok, enough of the ego what nots.
i'll end this post by welcoming a new baby girl into this world. we shall strive to make men shine our boots. welcome to the family, Alyea Ellyesha Soekratis. thank god, you'll be about 5 months older than a 'coming soon' arab boy.. God help us.. yes mom, aunt yanny's baby is a boy.
